The long awaited minor scratch repair tutorial has just been added to our how to guides! We finally had time to tackle some of those pesky scratches that have been nagging us in our 2002 SOM Camaro’s beautiful paint.
I have taken the time to document the entire repair from start to finish. You’ll find very mild scratches to some pretty deep ones that will make you cringe. This guide includes photos and a quick video on YouTube that explains how I apply rubbing compound on the scratches to achieve the results that I do.
The skill level required for this project is basic to medium. It isn’t hard to do and really only requires a few basic detail products to be on hand. Chances are, if you love your car like we do you might already have all you need to get started.
