A vehicle title is a legal document that can prove that you own the vehicle. When you buy a car, you are going to get the title from your state’s Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). Titles are commonly issued for any type of vehicle, such as RVs, trucks, motorized boats, motorcycles, cars, etc.
When you are planning to sell or junk your car, you need to have the title with you. You have to present the title to your buyers. They will need this title for two main reasons. They want to know that the car belongs to you and you have the right to sell your car.
